Point E37 is known for its beneficial effects on digestive discomfort, particularly diarrhea or abdominal pain. Stimulating it may help restore some comfort in the abdomen.

How to stimulate it (acupressure)
Apply firm, gradually increasing pressure with your thumb or index finger, without causing sharp pain. The sensation should be deep but never painful. Maintain this pressure for one to two minutes. This self-massage is recommended two to three times a day, or whenever you feel the need.

Depth : 1 à 1,5 cun
The acupuncturist may insert a sterile needle perpendicularly to the skin at a depth of 1 to 1.5 cun. This procedure must be performed by a qualified practitioner for safety and efficacy reasons.
Moxibustion
Moxibustion, which involves heating the point using an herb called mugwort, can be applied to this point by a practitioner. This technique is used to warm and activate the circulation of energy.
Effects in traditional Chinese energetics (TCM)
Regulates the Intestines (harmonizes intestinal function), clears Damp-Heat from the Large Intestine (helps eliminate excess dampness and heat in the intestine, often associated with digestive discomfort). This is a lower He-Sea point (an organ's energy point located in the lower part of the body) specifically associated with the Large Intestine (large bowel).
