    Tianzong — Heavenly Path

    In brief

This point is useful for relieving tension and localized pain in the shoulder and arm. It may also offer comfort when there is discomfort in the chest.

    Where to find it

In the center of the infraspinous fossa, in the depression directly above the midpoint of the shoulder blade ridge.

    How to stimulate it (acupressure)

To stimulate this point, use the tip of your thumb or index finger. Apply moderate pressure, neither too firm nor too light, to produce a slight sensation of numbness or comfort. Maintain this pressure for about one to two minutes, using small circular movements or firm, steady pressure. You can repeat this stimulation two to three times a day, or whenever you feel the need to ease discomfort. If sharp pain occurs, reduce the pressure or stop the self-massage.
