Indications
How to stimulate it (acupressure)
To stimulate point V45, apply gentle but firm pressure with your thumb or a finger to the area approximately four finger-widths on either side of the spine, at the level of the 6th thoracic vertebra (approximately the inferior angle of the scapula). Massage gently in small circles or apply steady pressure for one to two minutes. The sensation should be comfortable; slight pressure or numbness is normal, but never cause sharp pain. You can repeat this self-massage two to three times a day, particularly when symptoms occur.

Effects in traditional Chinese energetics (TCM)
Point V45 helps disperse Wind (expel external influences that may cause symptoms such as chills or migratory pain) and promote the flow of Qi (vital energy) in the Bladder meridian (the energy channel), which may help relieve stagnation and local pain.
