    In brief

This point is useful for relieving pain and stiffness in the shoulder and the back of the neck. It helps restore greater flexibility and comfort in these frequently used areas.

    Where to find it

Hollow above the shoulder blade ridge, midway between LI15 and SI13.

    How to stimulate it (acupressure)

Apply moderate pressure, neither too firm nor too light, while massaging the area in small circles. You should feel a sensation of pressure or slight numbness, but never sharp pain. Maintain this pressure for 1 to 2 minutes. Practising this self-massage 2 to 3 times a day is recommended, particularly when symptoms arise, for optimal relief.
