    Zhongdu — Central Capital

    In brief

Point F6, known as “Central Capital,” is an acupressure point that may help ease various discomforts, including lower abdominal pain and certain gynecological concerns. It may also offer relief from digestive issues such as diarrhea.

    Where to find it

Inner side of the leg, above the inner ankle bone

    How to stimulate it (acupressure)

To stimulate point F6, apply firm pressure with your thumb or a finger to the medial side of your lower leg, about seven fingerbreadths above the medial malleolus. You should feel mild pressure or numbness, but never sharp pain. Maintain this pressure for one to two minutes, using small circular movements or intermittent pressure. Repeat two to three times a day, or as needed. If you are unsure or your symptoms persist, please consult a healthcare professional.
