In brief
This point is useful for supporting comfort during menstrual cycles and may help with unpleasant sensations of dampness in the lower body. It is used to support women's well-being.
Where to find it
Inner side of the thigh, below the groin crease, on the outer edge of the long adductor muscle.
Indications
How to stimulate it (acupressure)
To stimulate this point, apply gentle to moderate pressure with the tip of your thumb or index finger to the medial aspect of the thigh, approximately 2 thumb-widths below the inguinal crease, toward the inner side. You should feel mild pressure or local numbness, but never sharp pain. Maintain pressure for 1 to 2 minutes per point, using small circular movements or alternating pressure and release. You can repeat this stimulation 2 to 3 times a day.
