    Zhouliao — Elbow Depression

    In brief

This point is useful for easing pain and stiffness around the elbow, particularly if you experience tension or numbness in the arm. It may provide localized comfort and help improve mobility.

    Where to find it

Outer side of the elbow, above the lateral epicondyle, on the border of the humerus

    How to stimulate it (acupressure)

To stimulate this point, find the depression on the lateral aspect of your elbow, just above the bony prominence. Apply moderate pressure, neither too firm nor too light, with your thumb or another finger. Massage using circular movements or alternating pressure and release for 1 to 2 minutes. You should feel a gentle pressure sensation or mild numbness, but never sharp pain. This self-massage is recommended 2 to 3 times a day, or whenever needed.
