    In brief

Point V60 is known for helping ease various types of pain, particularly in the head, neck, lower back, and ankle. It is useful for stiffness or tension in these areas.

    Where to find it

Between the outer ankle bone and the Achilles tendon

    How to stimulate it (acupressure)

To stimulate point V60, locate it in the hollow between your lateral malleolus (the bony prominence on the outside of your ankle) and the Achilles tendon at the back. Apply moderate pressure with your thumb or another finger, without causing pain. You should feel a slight pressure sensation or mild numbness. Maintain this pressure for 1 to 2 minutes, using small circular movements or repeated presses. Repeat 2 to 3 times a day, on both sides if needed.
