    Shenshu — Kidney Hearth

    In brief

This point is traditionally used to support your overall energy, relieve lower back pain, and promote the well-being of organs associated with vitality. It is particularly recommended for fatigue or to support kidney function.

    Where to find it

    How to stimulate it (acupressure)

Apply moderate pressure with your thumb or another finger, using circular movements or direct pressure. The sensation should be comfortable, perhaps with slight numbness or a pleasant feeling of heaviness; there should never be any sharp pain. Maintain pressure for 1 to 2 minutes on each side. You can repeat this stimulation 1 to 2 times a day, especially when you feel fatigued or experience lower back pain.
