    Cuanzhu — Gathered Bamboo

    In brief

This point near your eyebrow is useful for relieving frontal headaches, eye pain, and eye strain, and for clearing the nose in cases of frontal sinusitis. It is often used to soothe these facial discomforts.

    Where to find it

At the inner end of the eyebrow, in the supraorbital hollow

    How to stimulate it (acupressure)

To stimulate this point, gently place your index or middle finger at the medial end of your eyebrow, where you feel a small depression. Apply gentle to moderate pressure, without ever causing sharp pain. You should feel a mild soothing sensation or slight pressure. Massage using small circular movements or by pressing and releasing for 1 to 2 minutes. You can repeat this 2 to 3 times a day, or whenever you feel the need.
