Chinese Medicine in Meudon
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, there is no standard protocol applicable to everyone. Two people suffering from the same symptom – a migraine, back pain, insomnia – may have completely different energetic causes, and therefore require distinct treatments.
Custom TCM treatment is based on this fundamental principle: understanding your unique imbalance through a comprehensive energetic assessment, then building a therapeutic protocol adapted to your constitution, your symptoms, and your lifestyle. This is not an “à la carte” treatment where you choose what you like – it's a personalized therapeutic strategy developed by the practitioner after a thorough analysis of your energetic terrain.
Each session combines several TCM techniques according to your current needs: acupuncture, Tui Na massage, cupping, moxibustion, Gua Sha... The goal is not to accumulate techniques, but to choose the most relevant tools to rebalance your body deeply.

Your Custom TCM Treatment
Why a personalized approach?
Western medicine often treats symptoms in a standardized way: a migraine = pain medication, back pain = anti-inflammatory and rest. Chinese medicine first seeks to understand why this symptom appears in you, now, in this context.
Your unique constitution
In TCM, each person has their own energetic terrain: some are more Yin (cold, slow, damp), others Yang (hot, fast, dry). Your treatment must match your deep nature.
fungicide.Your specific imbalances
Fatigue can come from a Qi deficiency of the Spleen, a Yang deficiency of the Kidneys, or a Qi stagnation of the Liver. Each cause requires a different treatment.
The interconnection of your symptoms
Your migraines, digestive issues, and irritability may not be three separate problems, but manifestations of a single imbalance of the Liver and Spleen.
Evolution over time
Your energetic state changes with the seasons, stress, diet, emotions. The protocol adapts to each session according to your current state.
It is this global and dynamic vision that allows for lasting results where standardized approaches fail.
"Treating the disease after it has manifested is like digging a well when one is already thirsty. The wise treat what is not yet sick." – Huangdi Neijing, classic of Chinese medicine
Who is this treatment for?
Custom TCM treatment is particularly suitable for people who:
- Suffer from complex chronic conditions: persistent fatigue, multiple pains, resistant digestive issues
- Have tried several approaches without success: normal examinations but very real symptoms
- Want holistic care: treating both body AND mind, symptoms AND cause
- Present multiple interconnected symptoms: stress + insomnia + digestive issues + pain
- Seek to optimize their health: prevention, vitality, energetic balance
- Need structured therapeutic follow-up: conditions requiring a protocol over several months
The energetic assessment: foundation of personalized care
Each custom treatment begins with a comprehensive energetic assessment according to the principles of Chinese medicine. This is not a standard questionnaire, but a true investigation of your energetic terrain.
The four stages of diagnosis
Inquiry (Wen)
In-depth questions about your main symptoms, sleep, digestion, eliminations, eating habits, emotional state, health history. Everything is connected in TCM – nothing is insignificant.
Observation (Wang)
Examination of your complexion, eyes, posture, general vitality. Tongue observation is particularly revealing: its color, coating, and shape indicate the state of your internal organs and the nature of your imbalances (heat, cold, dampness, dryness).
Pulse diagnosis (Qie)
The Chinese pulse not only measures heart rate but also evaluates the energetic state of each organ. I take 12 pulse positions (6 on each wrist) to identify deficiencies, excesses, and Qi blockages in different systems.
Palpation (Qie)
Abdominal palpation to assess the state of the Spleen and Stomach, palpation of painful areas, search for sensitive points along the meridians. The body speaks – you just need to know how to listen.
This assessment allows me to establish a precise energetic diagnosis according to TCM concepts: which organ is affected? Is it a deficiency or an excess? Is there heat or cold? What is the state of Yin and Yang? What emotions are involved?
Based on this diagnosis, I construct an adapted treatment principle: tonify Qi, nourish Yin, disperse heat, harmonize the Liver and Spleen, etc. This principle then guides the choice of techniques and points to treat.
The TCM toolbox
Depending on your assessment and needs, I combine several therapeutic techniques within the same session:
Acupuncture
Stimulation of specific points to regulate Qi, treat pain, harmonize internal organs.
Tui Na Massage
Deep therapeutic massage to release blockages, relax muscles, mobilize joints.
Cupping
Decompression of tissues, improvement of circulation, elimination of blood stasis.
Moxibustion
Application of heat by burning mugwort to tonify Yang, dispel cold, strengthen Qi.
Gua Sha
Friction technique to eliminate stasis, treat pain, stimulate circulation.
Electrostimulation
Electrical stimulation of needles to enhance therapeutic effect on chronic pain.
I do not seek to use all techniques in every session – I choose those that are most relevant to your current imbalance.
How a custom session unfolds
Assessment (25-30 minutes)
The first session starts with the full energetic assessment. In later sessions the review is shorter: reaction to the previous treatment, changes observed, pulse and tongue, in order to adjust the protocol.
The treatment
I apply the selected techniques in a logical order: Tui Na massage to relax the tissues and mobilise Qi, acupuncture to treat internal imbalances, then cupping or moxibustion as needed.
Advice at the end of the session
Recommendations adapted to your constitution: foods to favour or avoid, exercises to practise, lifestyle habits to adjust. TCM does not stop at the clinic.
A session lasts 1 hour or 1h30. For a first visit, the 1h30 format is strongly recommended, as the initial assessment takes 25 to 30 minutes.
How many sessions to plan for?
First session: 1h30 strongly recommended
The initial assessment takes 25 to 30 minutes. Booking 1h30 for a first visit leaves a full treatment time. Subsequent sessions last 1 hour.
A number of sessions defined during the assessment
It depends on how long your condition has been present and on your medical history. The estimate is given at the end of the initial assessment, once the energetic diagnosis is established.
A health program for ongoing care
If several sessions are needed, a follow-up program at preferential rates is available from the members area, and registration is free.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference from a classic acupuncture session?
An acupuncture session primarily uses needles to treat your imbalance. The custom treatment integrates several TCM techniques in the same session according to your needs: acupuncture + massage + cupping + moxibustion, etc. It is a more complete and flexible approach, particularly suited to complex cases or people who require work on both the body and energy.
How do I know if I need a custom treatment?
If your symptoms are multiple and interconnected, if you have tried several approaches without lasting success, if your medical examinations are normal but you are genuinely suffering, or if you are looking for holistic care rather than symptomatic treatment – custom treatment is probably more suitable than an isolated technique.
How many sessions should I expect?
It depends on how long your condition has been present and on your medical history. This is precisely one of the goals of the initial assessment: at the end of it, I tell you the rhythm and number of sessions to plan for. For ongoing care over several sessions, the health program offers a preferential rate.
Is the energetic assessment redone at each session?
The comprehensive initial assessment takes 25 to 30 minutes during the first session. In subsequent sessions, I conduct a shorter follow-up assessment (5-10 minutes): pulse, tongue, general state. Your energetic terrain evolves over the sessions and seasons – the treatment adjusts accordingly.
Can I choose the techniques I prefer?
No, because that would be contrary to the very principle of Chinese medicine. Techniques are chosen according to your energetic diagnosis, not according to your personal preferences. If you need to tonify Yang with moxibustion but prefer acupuncture, moxibustion will still be necessary to rebalance your body. My role is to guide you towards what you truly need.
