    In brief

    Where to find it

below Rt8, on the inner side of the tibia, below the inner ankle bone.

    How to stimulate it (acupressure)

Apply firm but comfortable pressure with your thumb or index finger. Maintain this pressure while making small circular movements for one to two minutes. You should feel gentle pressure or mild numbness; it should never be painful. You can repeat this stimulation two to three times a day, or as needed.

Effects in traditional Chinese energetics (TCM)

This point is a Xi-Cleft Point (emergency or accumulation point) on the Spleen meridian (an energetic system associated with digestion and body fluids). It is mainly used to regulate Blood (a nourishing substance) and Qi (vital energy) in the Lower Burner (lower abdominal region) and is considered particularly useful for gynecological concerns.
