    In brief

This point is helpful for easing feelings of tightness or pain in the chest, as well as calming mental restlessness and supporting comfort during breast-related concerns. It is particularly valued for its effects on the thoracic region.

    Where to find it

On the thorax, in the 4th intercostal space, lateral to the nipple, lateral to the anterior midline.

    How to stimulate it (acupressure)

Apply gentle to moderate pressure with your fingertip. You should feel mild pressure or warmth, never sharp pain. Maintain pressure for 1 to 2 minutes on each side, using small circular movements or steady pressure. You can repeat this stimulation 2 to 3 times a day.
