    In brief

This point is useful for relieving headaches on the sides of the head, around the temples. It may also help with jaw tension or difficulty opening the mouth.

Temporal region, at the intersection of the vertical line passing through the back edge of the temple and the horizontal line passing through the summit of the shoulder.

    How to stimulate it (acupressure)

Apply light to moderate pressure with one or two fingers, using small circular movements or steady pressure. Maintain this pressure for 1 to 2 minutes. You should feel a slight sense of relaxation or mild numbness, but never sharp pain. Repeat this self-massage 2 to 3 times a day, or whenever needed.
