    Siqiang — Four Muscles

    In brief

The point Ex-LE-Siqiang, also called the "Four Muscles", is an area of interest for easing weakness or pain in the thighs and knees. Stimulating this point may help support muscle strength in this region.

    Where to find it

Front side of the thigh, between ST-31 and ST-32

    How to stimulate it (acupressure)

Apply moderate pressure with your thumb or a finger, using circular movements or direct pressure. The sensation should be firm but never painful, and may feel like a slight heaviness. Maintain pressure for 1 to 2 minutes on each side. You can repeat this 2 to 3 times a day, particularly if you feel weakness or discomfort in the thigh.
