    In brief

This point is useful for relieving various types of eye discomfort, such as eye strain, redness, or aching sensations. It is used to soothe irritated or overworked eyes.

At the center of the eyebrow, just above the pupil when the person looks straight ahead, in a small depression on the eyebrow ridge.

    How to stimulate it (acupressure)

Apply gentle to moderate pressure with your fingertip. You should feel slight pressure or localized numbness, but never sharp pain. Maintain the pressure for 1 to 2 minutes per eye. You can repeat this practice 2 to 3 times a day, particularly for prolonged eye discomfort. If pain or symptoms persist, it is recommended that you consult a healthcare professional.
