    Dangyang — Above Yang

    In brief

This point is useful for relieving frontal headaches, sensations of nasal congestion, dizziness, or eye strain. It may help you feel more comfortable in daily life.

    Where to find it

On the vertical line passing through the pupil, above the anterior hairline.

    How to stimulate it (acupressure)

To stimulate this point, locate it on your forehead, one finger-width above the anterior hairline, directly above the pupil. Apply gentle to moderate pressure with the tip of your index finger or thumb. Massage using small circular movements or alternating pressure and release for one to two minutes. The sensation should be comfortable, perhaps with a slight heaviness, but never sharp pain. You can repeat this stimulation two to three times a day, or whenever you feel the need.
