    Juquan — Gathering Spring

    In brief

This point is located directly on the tongue. It may be particularly helpful for easing tongue mobility problems and certain speech difficulties, as well as changes in taste.

    Where to find it

When the tongue is maximally protruded, at the center of the tongue body.

    How to stimulate it (acupressure)

Using a clean finger (for example, your thumb), apply light pressure to this area. Hold the pressure for 30 seconds to 1 minute. You should feel a gentle pressure sensation. Repeat this stimulation 1 to 2 times a day, particularly before meals if you have taste problems. If you experience discomfort or pain, stop immediately.
