    In brief

This point is useful for relieving leg pain and stiffness at the back of the neck. It may also offer relief from discomfort along the sides of the body or throat-related issues.

    Where to find it

Outer side of the lower leg, above the outer ankle bone.

    How to stimulate it (acupressure)

To stimulate this point, press gently but firmly with your thumb or a finger on the outer side of your lower leg, about seven finger-widths above the outer ankle bone (lateral malleolus). Maintain steady pressure, without causing pain, for one to two minutes. You should feel a mild sensation of pressure or warmth. Repeat this two to three times a day.
